Why I get it...
I’m Athena Dobson and I’ll be your guide and cheerleader throughout this programme.
My journey into property didn’t start with a big portfolio or a clear plan. It started with long days and a feeling that life could be different.
I was working 50 hour weeks in a retail travel job running on fumes, getting home exhausted and waking up to do it all again.
That isn’t living.
When Covid hit I lost my job and had a choice to make. That was the moment I went all in on property.
Over the last 4 years I have built an idea in my head into a multi 6 figure business with no fancy team or outside investment, just grit, determination and self belief.
Today I speak on stages, host a sponsored podcast, and run retreats supporting women to invest and build lives on their terms. As the market evolves my attention is turning towards buying businesses and the idea you could make over £100K profit without a single tenant or brick.

Hi! I’m Athena and I will be your mentor and head cheerleader through this programme.
People often ask me how Girls in Property was born. It was born because I walked into rooms where women were the exception, not the norm.

I saw how many women wanted to build wealth and freedom but did not feel they belonged in those spaces.
​
So I created something different. A place where women could build businesses without losing themselves in the process.
​
Over time, the work shifted.
From just teaching strategy
To helping women build lives they actually want to live.
​
Because what I saw again and again was this.
You can build the business.
But if it is not aligned with who you are, it will never feel like success.

What drives me is helping women create lives that feel like theirs. Not a version of success they think they should want.
